What's included in a new roof?
A full strip and replace: tiles or slates off, underfelt and battens replaced, new tiles or slates fitted, ridge re-bedded, leadwork around chimneys and valleys redone, guttering checked and replaced where needed. Scaffold supplied, waste removed, written guarantee on completion. Everything itemised on the quote so there are no surprises.
How long does a re-roof take?
Most pitched re-roofs on a 3-bed house take 3-5 working days. Bigger or more complex jobs (steep pitches, multiple chimneys, dormer windows) can run to a week or two. We'll give you a fixed start date and an honest finish window in writing before any work starts.
What guarantee do you offer on a new roof?
Every new roof we install comes with a written 10-year workmanship guarantee. You get it in hand once the job's finished. Materials carry their own manufacturer warranty on top of that — typically 25-50 years on tiles depending on what you choose.
Slate or tile — what do you recommend?
Depends on your house and your budget. Slates look smarter on older Worcestershire properties and last 80-100+ years. Concrete tiles are about half the cost, last 50+ years, and suit most modern builds. We'll walk you through both at the site survey, including real-world cost differences for your specific roof.
